Decolonisation

In a voluntary capacity, Àdhamh has spent the last 15 years reclaiming his ancestral Gaelic heritage, from language and lore to ritual practice, as well as bringing up four children in the tradition.  This makes him uniquely qualified to offer advice to anyone thinking of undertaking a similar path, one which can be as challenging and painful as it is rewarding and inspiring.

Àdhamh has welcomed representatives of indigenous nations from all over the world to Scotland, providing on-the-ground assistance as well as ceremonial welcome to friends from the Maori, Mohawk, Karajá, Mapuche and Wet’suwet’en peoples as well as many others.

If you would like to investigate how to bring yourself back into meaningful and lasting connection with the earth your ancestors walked and with the practices which kept them whole, do not hesitate to be in touch if there is something we might be able to assist with.
